The Nat & Dick Show

Education is a right. Your right and you have the right to expect and get quality education. No-one has the right to prevent you getting the quality education you deserve. So how do you recognise if you are getting the quality that is owed to you?

Easy, we at OPSA- your students' association have put together a quick check list so you can know when you are getting quality. When receiving quality education you will be provided:
# Access to up to date relevant information
# Teaching staff that are appropriately trained and qualified
# an area provided for you to conduct your studies in as near to ideal as possible
# Support for you progressing through your study pathway that is always available, clear and accurate.

Furthermore, when you are receiving quality education no-one has the right to:
# make you feel bad about yourself
# make you feel foolish
# criticise you personally and any critique of your work must be done sensitively
# make you feel as if you are luck to be here.

At OPSA we are committed to ensuring that your rights are met. If there are any issues with the delivery quality or support of your education, we are the people to call. We are pretty good at getting things fixed and often just sitting down for a chat will help.

We have fab office staff: Lesley, Mark (Baxter) and Christian. As well as 3 elected staff: Richard, Natalie (the co-presidents) and Terry (the vice-president) we still need more people to continue our good work. We have our AGM on the 22nd of March where we would be looking to form our students’ association executive. We need students from all courses at all level, in short we need you.
